Walter Borchenko, founder and President of B3K Digital, picked up his first camera at the age of 8. His journey with film continued, shooting his first wedding at 15. After graduating from Applied Photography at Sheridan College, Walter gained experience and knowledge through numerous commercial, catalogue and editorial assignments. Eventually, he turned to commercial photographic equipment supply while continuing to experiment with his personal photographic portfolio.

In the early 1990s Walter was introduced to the first digital backs for medium format and that started his fascination with digital capture. By 2000, he had worked with almost every product for medium format and concluded that Phase One was miles ahead of the competition.

With that knowledge, Walter recently opened B3K Digital as the distributor/dealer for Phase One products in Canada. Dealers include Beau Photo serving Western Canada, Photo Service in Quebec and Atlantic Canada along with B3K Digital in Ontario. In addition to providing sales and support, B3K offers a wide range of training options customized to suit your requirements.
